2nd row: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1 here and throughout). Skip first 2 dc. 1 dc in next dc. Ch 1. Skip next dc. 1 dc in next dc. *Ch 2. Skip next ch-2 sp. (1 dc in next dc. Ch 1. Skip next dc) twice. 1 dc in next dc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout). (1 dc in next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next dc) twice. *Ch 2. Skip next ch-2 sp. (1 dc in next dc. 1 dc in next ch-1 sp) twice. 1 dc in next dc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
